Hyunji Na is a fashion designer based in South Korea and Germany. Since 2020, she has completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Conceptual Fashion Design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Germany, focusing on researching and expressing the narratives and messages that garments can convey. Her work is meticulously constructed using organza, tulle, lightweight transparent fabrics, and various pleating techniques. It combines raw and refined, robust yet elegant aesthetics to create a unique and distinctive style. She consciously distances herself from fast-changing fashion trends and focuses on producing one-of-a-kind, valuable creations.Building on her technical background, Nahyunji develops a unique design identity inspired by vintage, incorporating traces of time and stories into her garments. She also actively engages with upcycled materials, exploring sustainability and the potential for new narratives. Based on this approach, her goal is to create fashion that allows people to experience emotion and inspiration through clothing.

나 현지는 한국과 독일을 기반으로 활동하는 패션 디자이너입니다. 2020년부터 독일 Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design 에서 컨셉추얼 패션 디자인 학사와 석사를 공부하며 의류가 담을 수 있는 서사와 메시지를 연구하고 표현하는 데 집중했습니다. 그녀의 작업은 오간자, 튤, 가벼운 투명 소재와 다양한 주름 기법을 활용하여 정교하게 구성되며, 거칠면서도 정제되고 투박하지만 세련된 미학을 결합한 독창적인 스타일을 추구합니다. 빠르게 변화하는 패션 트렌드에서 거리를 두고, 유일하고 가치 있는 작품 제작에 주력합니다. 기술적 배경을 바탕으로 나현지는 빈티지에서 영감을 받아 옷에 시간의 흔적과 이야기를 담는 독창적인 디자인 아이덴티티를 발전시킵니다. 또한 업사이클 소재를 적극적으로 활용하며, 지속 가능성과 새로운 서사의 가능성을 탐구합니다. 이러한 접근을 바탕으로, 그녀의 목표는 사람들이 옷을 통해 감정과 영감을 경험할 수 있는 패션을 만드는 것입니다.
